Lake Greeson in Arkansas, on the Little
Missouri River, has many hunting and fishing opportunities as well as
camping, fishing, swimming and boating. The lake is a wintering site for
bald eagles.
The
Bear Creek Cycle Trail at Lake Greeson
covers 31 miles and spans rocky hills, beautiful pine forests and colorful
autumn hardwoods along the shores of the lake. It begins at Daisy State Park
and travels to the Laurel Creek Recreation Area. ATV's, mountain bikes, dirt
bikes and hikers use the trail, which is open throughout the year. Trail
maps are available at the Daisy State Park visitor center.
Cinnabar Mine Nature Trails travels back in
time where mining activities were booming during the late 1930s and early
1940s. Located at the Parker Creek Recreation Area.
